Recipe for Happiness
Remember the happy times
And also the sadness,
For they each enhance each other,
In monotony lies madness.
Like a painting by an artist,
Life must have light and shade,
By clever fusing of them both,
A masterpiece is made.
Happy smiles, a few gentle tears
Is a recipe for fulsome years,
Keep hope alive amid life’s stress
Is my recipe for happiness.
