Warcraft stats priority for a Death Knight

This is a rough guide for those that are unsure which secondary/enhancement stats are best for your death knight, based on data from leading sites like Icy-Veins and WoWhead. (Currently updated to patch 6.2/6.22). It will also tell you what food buff is probably best to be using. If you know of any other good web sites specifically aimed at this class please do let me know via comments.

Deathknights appear the most difficult to categorise because of the play between tier choices and whether two-handed or dual-wielding. As such thoughts and input would be appreciated as my own DK is a button masher that is only really used for mats farming!

Stat priority for a Unholy Death Knight: Multistrike (… of the Relentless / Merciless)
Multistrike > Mastery > Critical Strike > Versatility > Haste
(Icy veins: Unholy, if Breath of Sindragosa or Defile is your tier 7 talent)
Mastery > Multistrike > Critical Strike > Versatility > Haste
(Icy veins: Unholy, if Necrotic Plague is your tier 7 talent )
Multistrike > Haste > Critical Strike >= Versatility > Mastery
(Mr Robot)
Multistrike > Mastery > Critical Strike > Versatility > Haste
(Wowhead: Unholy)
Multistrike > Mastery > Critical Strike > Haste >= Versatility
(Noxxic)

Interesting that Icy makes the distinction of how tier 7 talent matters. Feasts concur, giving a multistrike buff to frost DKs.

Stat priority for a Frost Death Knight (Two-handed weapon): Haste (… of the Impatient / Deft)
Haste > Multistrike > Versatility > Mastery > Critical Strike
(Icy veins: Frost), Stat priority for Two-Handed playstyle
Haste > Multistrike > Versatility > Critical Strike > Mastery
(Mr Robot: Frost, 2-H)
Haste > Multistrike > Versatility > Critical Strike > Mastery
(Wowhead: Frost, 2-handed)
*Noxxic

*at the time of writing, Noxxic, unlike the others, makes no distinction for Frost DKs using a two-handed weapon. See dual-wielding blow.
Feasts give Frost Deathknights a haste buff.

Stat priority for a Frost Death Knight (duel-wielding): Mastery (… of the Savant / Merciless)
Mastery > Multistrike = Haste > Versatility > Critical Strike
(Icy veins: Frost for Dual-Wielding playstyle)
Mastery > Multistrike > Haste >= Versatility > Critical Strike
(Mr Robot: Frost,, if dual-wielding)
Mastery > Multistrike > Versatility > Haste > Critical Strike
(Wowhead: Frost if dual wield)
Multistrike > Versatility >= Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike
(Noxxic: Frost if dual-wielding)

(Need to confirm which food buff feasts give, if dual-wielding. Anyone?)

Stat priority for a Blood Death Knight: Bonus Armor / Multistrike(/Mastery)
(… of the Stormbreaker / (Relentless/Noble))
Strength = Bonus Armor > Multistrike > Mastery > Haste = Critical Strike > Versatility
(Icy veins: Blood DK, if balanced (recommended))
Bonus Armor > Strength > Mastery > Haste > Critical Strike = Versatility & gt; Multistrike
(Icy veins, if survival)
Strength > Bonus Armor > Multistrike > Critical Strike > Mastery = Versatility > Haste
(Icy veins, if DPS-oriented)
Bonus armor > Strength > Mastery > Multistrike >= Critical Strike = Versatility > Haste
(Mr Robot: Blood), if Defile talent chosen
Strength > Bonus Armor > Armor > Multistrike > Mastery > Critical Strike >= Versatility > Haste
(Mr Robot: Blood Dk, if you are using the Breath of Sindragosa talent
Bonus Armour (> Strength) > Mastery > Haste > Versatility = Critical Strike > Multistrike
(Wowhead: Blood DK), if defensive
(Strength) > Bonus Armour > Multistrike > Critical Strike > Versatility > Mastery > Haste
(Wowhead: Blood DK, if offensive)
Stamina > Bonus Armor >= Armor > Strength > Multistrike = Versatility >= Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike
(Noxxic)

As you can see, Wowhead make the distinction between offensive and defensive play, Icy Veins between these and a balance, while Mr Robot focuses on talent choices. Icy veins note that "after around 3,000 Multistrike, Mastery overtakes it in value".

Overall, in terms of food buffs at any rate, multistrike seems most highly favoured, and this is the buff I’ve noticed being applied by feasts

I’d appreciate input from DK tanks with regard to which food buff feasts give to see if it varies with builds or sticks with Multistrike.
