In the past (like 20 years ago), you could code a Google form straight into your site. The above link, or adding that to a Google search will do the same task.

Let's be honest, the default and even paid Jetpack search is basic at best. I noticed someone recently searched for 'funny australian motor insurence claims' - If I couldn't find it with the default search, they probably didn't either.

There are other options like plugins from SearchWP (from $100 a year) and elasticpress ($79 to $699 a month)…

Yep! That's about what I thought too, when I saw the prices!
