Darkmoon
Darkmoon daily pet battles are only available during the event and are shared account wide.
Darkmoon Pet Battle vs Jeremy Feasel, Master Pet Trainer
Fighting: Judgement (Magic), Honky-Tonk (Mechanical) and Fezwick (Beast)
Easy fight with : Mechanical Pandaren Dragon (or Emerald proto) / Corefire Imp / Son of Animus
Rewards ‘Darkmoon Pet Supplies’ which includes pet bandages, pet toys and a small chance for the rare Darkmoon Eye pet.
Battling: Syd (Magic), Mr Pointy (Beast) and Otto (Beast)
Easy fight with Mechanical Pandaren Dragon (or Emerald proto) / Darkmoon Zeppelin / Son of Animus
Rewards Greater Darkmoon Pet Supplies which includes pet bandages, pet toys and a small chance for the rare Syd the Squid pet.
Tiny Terrors of Tanaan
There are fifteen of the legendary pet Tanaan, available as a regular daily, meaning you can you each one once per day, per alt.
Defeating these legendaries rewards a bag of Fel-Touched Pet Supplies. This bag can contain Pet Charms, Battle Pet Bandage, a Fel-Touched Battle-Training Stone (adds five levels), and has a chance to contain one of four rare pets:
Nightmare Bell, Periwinkle Calf, Seaborne Spore, and Zangar Spore
As a bit of a gripe, the drop rates, even for the bandages, are low so you may quickly wonder if it’s worth the hassle! For the achievement and getting each pet without going to the auction house, maybe, after that it gets tiresome.
Unlike the daily pet managerie, which needs different pets for each fight (below), a user called Ectothrix posted a great solution on wowhead, one that I can confirm is able to defeat all these legendaries. It isn’t 100% guaranteed, due to RNG, but it does work against all, just some better than others!
Introducing the ‘Howl Bomb’ party:
Next swap for Chrominius and cast Howl then Surge of Power
Finally, if necessary, finish off with an Emerald Proto Whelp (or a similar pet with strong self-healing)

Erris the Collector (ally) / Kura Thunderhoof (horde)
This is garrison daily quest is account wide, requires a garrison of your own and can be completed by a single alt of either faction. If you don’t have Erris, or don’t have her today you can look for someone sharing her…
[ group finder > premade > custom > find > ( Erris ) ]
[ group finder > premade > custom > find > ( Kura ) ]
Easy fight as they are only level 23 pets. Rewards 3 Flawless Battle-Training Stone (applies one level to a pet, best used whether they are over level 20, more efficient that way). Also rewards Traveler’s Pet Supplies which includes bandages and a chance for one of these three pets:
Young Talbuk, Slithershock Elver and Bone Serpent.
This garrison daily quest is per alt but requires you have a menagerie of your own. This needs upgrading to level 3 if you want to get the ‘Big Bag of Pet Supplies’. The bag, as well as upgrade tokens and bandages, can give the following pets:
Albino Chimaeraling, Firewing, Ghastly Kid (with Spectral Bell),
Puddle Terror, Sunfire Kaliri, Sun Sproutling and Weebomination
Usual swap/timing tactics for harder fights.
Note that her two round charge – Death Bleat – can one-shot many pets, especially Humanoids.
She has also has the (Rot) ability that makes you take damage as an Undead:
Rots the target’s flesh, dealing 370 Undead damage and transforming them into Undead for 5 rounds.
As such, in this case, the ideal pet is an Aquatic with Critter attacks
Try frogs and toads like :
Mud Jumper (Tongue Lash, Mudslide, Bubble)
Mac Frog (Tongue Lash, Healing Wave, Swarm of Flies)
Jubling (Tongue Lash, Healing Wave, Swarm of Flies)
You need to do 500 damage to hit him.
Unborn Valkyrie (Undead) (Doom, then Unholy Ascension)
Chrominius (Dragonkin) (Howl, then Bite, then finish off with Surge of Power)
(Anything really, second Chrominius works great though)
As with King and Queen Floret, a decent aquatic team are what you want here. Note the Tirs does Aquatic attacks, so you don’t want an Elemental in the team (nor, obviously, a Mechanical pet). Dancing Water Skimmer works well.
Try these:
Dancing Water Skimmer (Water Jet, Cleansing Rain, Pump)
Pandaren Water Spirit (Water Jet, Whirlpool, Dive)
Jubling (Water Jet, Healing Wave, Frog Kiss)
Nexus Whelping, Emerald Proto-Whelp and Nether Faerie Dragon work well here, but most Magic casting Dragonkin are equally good choices.
The Nether Faerie Dragon and Nexus Whelpling can both solo this as, can others.
Three Mechanicals can easily defeat these. Son of Animus is particularly strong against these. In the last few fight I tried this, by way of example:
Chrominius (Howl, Bite, Surge of Power)
Son of Animus (Metal Fist, Siphon Anima, Extra Plating)
Darkmoon Zeppelin (Missile, Bombing Run, Thunderbolt)
Chrominius actually dies fast here because Brukus has a strong attack verses Dragonkin, but he lasts enough to take it down to around 800 health or less. (I wanted to try this rather than use two Animus or roll in something like the Darkmoon Tonk. Lots of good options).
Son of Animus finishes the first one off in one or two blows and can take Rukus does to under 500 before he dies.
I used a low level (18 now) Zeppellin to finish the fight using Missile (if needed) and Thunderbolt.
This can be a hard battle to win, the hardest of all the Menagerie teams.
Lost of Lordaeron (Doom),
Stitch Pup (Howl)
and Brilliant Bloodfeather (Blood drain) or Nether Faerie (Life Exchange) – Or another Stitched Pup.
With Kromli and Gromli cast ‘Doom’, and another attack, swap to a mob with ‘Howl’ to maximise the Doom spell, then swap to something with ‘Blood Drain’ (survivability) or ‘Life Exchange’ (levels out high health npcs’) and finish it off.
Repeat for second mob
(If you don’t have Stitch Pup use something like the Alpine Foxling, best not to use Chrominius as it will get battered by the duos Humanoid attacks!)
Two Chrominius destroy her with Howl and Surge of Power
Most Dragonkin with strong Magic powers can work though.
If you time the Decoy right you can solo this battle with just the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling. Two decent Undead as backup can’t hurt though. Most will do, such as Restless Shadeling and Lost of Lordaeron
The Mechanical Pandaran Dragonling can solo these three. Pick any two others as backup or, more likely, for levelling up.
Easy fight with a team like Kun-Lai, Son of Animus and Chrominius or Nexus Whelpling. Rarely even need the last pet.
Dragonkin with Magic attacks work well here.
Nexus Whelpling and Chromninius make a powerful team. Using a combination of Arcane Winds, Howl then Surge of Power you can hit for 3,300 damage against Flying pets!
Aquatics and Elementals work best against this hard-hitting duo. Try something like these :
Dancing Water Skimmer (Water Jet, Cleansing Rain, Pump)
Pandaren Water Spirit (Water Jet, Whirlpool, Dive)
Jubling (Water Jet, Healing Wave, Frog Kiss)
You don’t always need a third pet – just try to save Dive to avoid King Floret’s Righteous Inspiration!
You can almost solo this with just a Dancing Water Skimmer (Pump) but adding a second Aquatic like Pandaran Water Spirit and a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling make a great team.
The latter pet can be swapped for almost any Dragonkin pet. Emerald Proto Whelp works very well.
Rockbiter casts ‘Elemental Mark’ in the first round, so you need to be doing heavy Aquatic damage against him).
Dancing Water Skimmer (Or other with Pump as main attack to counter Elemental Mark on Rockbiter)
Unborn Valkyrie (Doom, Shadow Slash, Unholy Ascension at end)
Chrominus (Howl plus Surge of Power to finish)
These three Mechanicals have an ability called ‘Critter Mark‘ that allows the front pet to take damage as if they were a Critter.
Leading with Elementals with Sunlight is the answer. The mech’s damage is weak against them and pets like Singing Sunflower can heal through it with spells like Photosynthesis which the Sunlight abilities does hefty damage against the back row pets. Swap to a beast while the Sunlight is on cooldown.
You can also swap out for Elementals like Tiny Bog Beast, Sapphire Cub and Skunky Alemental that have Beast attacks, effective against the Critter Mark. Brilliant Bloodfeather, Sethe and Ruby droplet can be good in many teams for their Drain Blood.
Try a team like this:
Terrible Turnip (Tidal Wave, Inspiring Song, Sunlight)
Tiny Bog Beast (Clobber (but forces a swap), Leap, Rampage)
Brilliant Bloodfeather (Quills, Hawk Eye, Drain Blood)
