After buying a WNHDE111 access point from Netgear and realising it was wholly incompatible with all the other Netgear wireless I own I was told by the technicians* to buy the Netgear WNDA3100 usb adapter.
What they failed to mention is that it has a long history of causing BSOD crashes with XP and Vista – AND THERE ARE NO DRIVERS for Windows 7. Nor have they plans for it.
If you attempt to find online drivers for Windows 7 (especially 64) you will get an instant BSOD crash that will persist as long as the USB adapter is plugged in.
*(By the way Netgear, thanks for directing closing all the UK lines and redirecting me to an Indian call centre. Note: That was sarcasm!)
