Still in far too much pain to move much after the kidney operation. To make matters worse, as I said, they were unable to insert the second stent - largely because of the agony I was in just putting a draining tube in. So, it needs yet another operation under general anesthetic to (try to) put the second stent in. I'm told by the surgeon that it should be a relatively short (20 minute) and straightforward procedure as the guide tube is already in.
I'll tell you what though, if I'm in this much pain and discomfort now…
Felt dreadful. Stood up, come over all faint and decorated a few bowls!

Mum and Dad come up in the day, Louise and the kids at night. Rather brave really, Louise has a phobia of people being sick.
